My experience with Caroline McGuiness has been great. From the beginning of the process Caroline was informative but also helped me in areas where I was unsure by taking lead and advising me on what would be the best options based on her own professional opinion and experience. This was incredibly helpful as someone who was new to all of this. It’s very important to choose a surgeon like Caroline who you can trust to advise you on all your decisions and who will do everything in her power to achieve the results you are aiming for, even if you are unsure of that yourself. I would highly recommend finding ‘inspiration’ pictures of your desired results to use as reference, especially when you’re unsure on what profile and cc to go for. I was able to trust Ms McGuiness to help me make these decisions and advise me on what would give me my exact desired results. I am extremely happy I trusted Caroline to achieve what I wanted as I couldn’t be happier with the result. They are incredibly real looking, you quite literally would never be able to tell! The shape, size and profile are also perfect and exactly what I was aiming for. The overall healing process was great too, NewHall hospital staff were lovely and Ms McGuiness was supportive and reassuring. Within under two weeks i was fully back to normal life and feeling great. Caroline is a wonderful caring surgeon, whose attention to the needs and concerns of her patients is second to none. She has super surgical skills and I have no hesitation in recommending her.

For me, this was a really important, and also very personal, surgery and one I had wanted for a long time. It was really important to me that the Surgeon I chose made me feel at ease and understood my issues and goals. The moment I met Miss McGuiness I felt completely comfortable with her. I was able to explain my issues, my desired outcome, but also being guided by her experience as to expectations. The consultations leading up to my surgery were thorough, but really friendly and I knew exactly what to expect. The surgery itself went really well and I can honestly say that I was treated to the highest levels of professionalism and dignity from Miss McGuiness, the Anaesthetist, the nursing staff and even the catering department (who were more than happy to accommodate dietary needs). After discharge I had excellent aftercare and Miss McGuiness was available to answer any concerns or questions I had. This was an expensive private surgery, but at no time have I ever regretted my choice of Surgeon, I truly don’t think I could have been in better hands! Miss McGuiness has been caring for my continuous wound management and care. She has been amazing by going above and beyond what I would expect of a consultant. Rather than let the practice nurse or dressing clinic provide post op wound care she undertook that role herself, continually maintaining contact to ensure all was healing as it should. Amazing level of care and compassion.

My experience with Ms Caroline McGuiness was excellent . From the first time meeting her and discussing my operation wishes and expectations she made me feel calm relaxed and heard to leaving the hospital.

Miss mcguiness has been amazing from start to finish, explaining everything and supporting me through my worries around my procedure. A small complication which was checked straight away and issued with a swab and anti botics which came back negative. Miss mcguiness was very attentive to my needs both emotionally and physically. The appointments especially around my post operation was excellent, I felt very well looked after and reassured throughout. Would highly recommend. I am so happy woth my result and minimal scarring.
