As expected He seemed happy with my progress I prefer face to face meetings with examination
I have had very positive experiences with three operations on my knees. The first time I met Mr Shah he gave me great confidence that he would look after me well. Following the first operation, an arthroscopy, my knee was immediately less painful. This was followed over the next couple of years with two knee replacements. Mr Shah listened to me, saw the problems that I had and operated with a great team supporting him. I would highly recommend him to anyone - my knees are great now and I know I can trust them 100%.
I had a new hip fitted. Following that, there was physio and an exercise schedule. I followed the list and afterv6 weeks have been given the all clear to resume normal living
I was made to feel at ease. Everyone was very professional and explained every step of the way. Lovely clean hospital
Shame the follow up wasn’t face to face so that you get an idea of how you’re doing from the consultant as what I think is ok may not be!
Mr Shah discussed happy to hear that I still had no pain in left hip and closed the referral, telling me to contact him in fthe uture should any pain develop.
I am a 78yr old working gardener; after two years of debilitating knee pain I finally went to my local surgery which arranged an appointment with Mr.Shah at Woodlands Hospital. He was very informative, and I will never forget his final words: “I do the operation, you must do the work afterwards!” I had a total knee replacement on 16/2/26, battled through the prescribed exercises and was back at work at the beginning of April, able to sustain an eight hour day without pain or limitation. My gratitude to Mr.Shah for prolonging my working life. Kate K
My experience at woodland hospital was excellent from the minute I booked in to the day I left, in fact I could have stayed another week, overall stunning.
Seen on time. Calm atmosphere. X rays explained and questions clearly answered. Reassured about my state of recovery and expectations. Asked to get in touch if I have any concerns.
