Mr Bharat Kapoor

Mr Bharat Kapoor is a Consultant Ophthalmologist. He specialises in inflammatory diseases of the eye, such as Uveitis and Scleritis. Mr Kapoor also specialises in cataract surgery and medical retinal conditions. He can perform YAG Laser (for after-cataract) and Argon Laser (for Diabetes and vein occlusions). Mr Kapoor undertook Ophthalmology training in the East Midlands Deanery. Following this, he completed a Fellowship in Uveitis and Medical Retina at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. Mr Kapoor co-leads undergraduate Ophthalmology training at Leicester Medical School. He is also an examiner for the Fellowship Exam at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, London. He has co-authored many scientific papers and written chapters in textbooks.
