Mr Benjamin Patterson

Mr Benjamin Patterson is a dedicated Consultant Vascular Surgeon providing expert care for a comprehensive range of circulatory and blood vessel conditions. Specialising in both open surgical techniques and modern, minimally invasive endovascular procedures, he is committed to delivering individualised treatment plans that prioritise patient safety, comfort, and long-term well-being. His practice encompasses the complete assessment and management of complex arterial and venous disorders, offering patients reassuring guidance throughout their treatment journey.

In addition to general vascular surgery, Mr Patterson has developed significant expertise in advanced aortic interventions, including the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms, thoracic aortic aneurysms, thoracoabdominal pathology, and aortic dissection. His clinical focus also extends to carotid artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, thrombosis, and atherosclerosis. Working closely within multidisciplinary teams, he utilises evidence-based practices and state-of-the-art procedures to deliver precise and effective outcomes tailored to each individual.

Mr Patterson earned his undergraduate medical degree (MBBS) from Imperial College London in 2005. He subsequently completed his higher vascular surgical training at leading London institutions, including St George's Hospital, St Thomas' Hospital, and St Mary's Hospital. Dedicated to advancing surgical standards, he completed a PhD at St George's University of London focused on enhancing the safety of complex aortic repairs. Mr Patterson is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Vasc) and remains actively engaged in clinical research, teaching, and professional development.
