Becky Mayes

Ms Rebecca Mayes is a Children’s Allergy Nurse with experience in children’s allergy research and allergy immunotherapy studies. Through this work, she has developed a particular interest in children’s allergy and has supported children and families living with food allergies.

Ms Mayes has experience carrying out food challenges and skin prick tests, running immunotherapy appointments and providing telephone support to those seeking advice. She is passionate about personalised care and building relationships with children and their families to support them throughout their immunotherapy journey.

Before becoming a children’s research nurse, Ms Mayes worked on paediatric surgical and nephrology wards for six years. She has also gained experience working as an agency children’s nurse in different hospitals across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Devon and Bristol.
