Dr. Arianna Marconi

Dr Marconi is a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist based at Re:Cognition in London (Wimpole Street).

She has considerable expertise in the assessment and treatment of children with various conditions in their developmental age, having worked in both inpatient and outpatient facilities (including psychiatric intensive care).

She treats a range of conditions including the following:

• Emotional and behavioural disorders,
• anxiety disorders,
• affective disorders,
• attachment disorders,
• psychosis,
• ADHD

Dr Marconi earned a distinction in her medical training at Rome's "La Sapienza" University. She undertook a 5-year post-graduate programme where she was given an honorary placement at the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London, to complete a combined research/clinical attachment. During this time, she was part of a number of European research projects that led to publications in peer-reviewed journals.

She has previously worked as a consultant psychiatrist and team lead at the West London Mental Health NHS Trust. She currently works as a child psychiatrist within the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Marconi is a specialist affiliate of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and is RCP Section 12 approved.
