Dr. Anupreet Dua

Dr. Anupreet Dua is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist and Subspecialist Urogynaecologist with over 12 years of practice within the NHS. As an accredited subspecialist in urogynaecology, Dr. Dua specialises in the treatment of vaginal prolapse, urinary incontinence, and pelvic floor disorders, including issues related to the bladder, bowel, and sexual dysfunction.

Dr. Dua trained in general gynaecology in Leeds before completing a three-year advanced subspecialty training in urogynaecology at Sheffield, where she focused on the management of prolapse and incontinence. She currently serves as the Clinical Lead for Urogynaecology at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust and as the Training Programme Director for the subspecialist urogynaecology training programme.

Her expertise spans a wide range of diagnostic and treatment services, including management of vaginal prolapse, urinary incontinence, sexual dysfunction, recurrent urinary tract infections, and pelvic floor and perineal pain. She collaborates closely with specialists in physiotherapy, urology, and colorectal surgery to deliver holistic, multidisciplinary care tailored to each patient’s needs.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Dua is involved in research, with over 30 publications focusing on the diagnosis, investigation, and management of urogynaecological conditions. As a dedicated educator, she trains other surgeons in the management of urogynaecology conditions and pelvic floor dysfunction.

Dr. Dua is an active member of the British Society of Urogynaecology and the International Urogynaecology Association, where she contributes to clinical governance and curriculum development committees. She frequently lectures at local, national, and international conferences, sharing her expertise with the broader medical community.
