About Dr Anne Hunningher
Dr Anne Hunningher is an experienced Consultant in Anaesthesia. She works clinically as a Consultant Anaesthetist at the Royal London Hospital, and specialises in ENT, thrombectomy and emergencies.
She is a clinical lead on the steering group for the RCOA/CPOC committee for National Safety Standards for Invasive Procedures (NatSSIPs) and is co-authoring NatSSIPs2. Dr Hunningher is also a regional lead for SALG, the RCOA Safety anaesthesia liaison group.
Dr Hunningher was a UCLP improvement fellow in 2017 and ran the UCLP invasive network for safety from 2018 to 2020. In 2017, she and the NatSSIPs team were awarded the Barts Health Hero award for Safety. She is also an experienced conference organiser.
