Professor Anju Sahdev

Professor Anju Sahdev is a distinguished Clinical Professor of Diagnostic Imaging and Consultant Radiologist with more than 25 years of specialist experience. Internationally recognised for her expertise in oncology, gynaecological, and endocrine imaging, she is a leading authority in the interpretation of complex MRI, CT, and ultrasound scans. Her clinical work focuses on providing highly accurate diagnostic assessments for a range of conditions, including pelvic pain, suspected endometriosis, and adrenal disorders. Her academic standing is reflected in her role as an Associate Editor for the British Journal of Radiology and Cancer Imaging, alongside an extensive publication record comprising more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and 23 chapters in clinical and imaging textbooks.

Throughout her career, she has held significant leadership and research positions, driving advancements in diagnostic techniques and patient care pathways. She is currently Vice President of the International Cancer Imaging Society (ICIS), an international professional organisation dedicated to advancing cancer imaging through education and collaboration. She remains dedicated to medical education and research, serving as a module lead for national e-learning programmes and frequently lecturing at international conferences. Her approach integrates the latest research findings with high-level clinical expertise to support multidisciplinary teams and provide patients with precise diagnostic clarity.
