Dr Anicee Danaee

Dr Anicee Danaee is an experienced Consultant Haematologist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals with a wide spectrum of blood disorders. She possesses extensive expertise in general haematology, haemostasis, thrombosis, and transfusion medicine. Dr Danaee approaches each patient with empathy and clarity, ensuring that individuals undergoing investigation or treatment for complex blood conditions feel fully supported, informed, and confident throughout their care pathway.

Dr Danaee completed her undergraduate medical education in London before undertaking advanced postgraduate specialist training in Haematology. To deepen her clinical acumen, she completed specialist sub-specialty fellowships in paediatric haematology, focusing on general paediatric blood conditions, sickle cell disease, and haemophilia. In addition, she completed a dedicated research fellowship investigating thrombosis in patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms. Demonstrating a strong commitment to clinical excellence and medical education, Dr Danaee serves as an Undergraduate Educational Lead for Haematology and contributes as an expert panel member to a national organisation evaluating transfusion safety, specifically focusing on haemolytic transfusion reactions.

In her clinical practice, Dr Danaee specialises in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of blood clots, leading comprehensive services for cancer-associated thrombosis. She offers expert care for patients with complex bleeding and clotting disorders, including thrombophilia, antiphospholipid syndrome, and inherited or acquired haemostasis conditions. Dr Danaee also leads specialised protocols for pre- and post-operative optimisation in patients who decline blood products, as well as providing tailored guidance on anticoagulation therapy. Through close collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, she delivers holistic, individualised treatment plans designed to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
