Could not ask for more- things were explained clearly, he genuinely cared and answered all questions realistically. I had complete trust in him for the surgery and in the advice and recommendations he made and I felt at ease talking with him through both the good news and bad news I have received over the last few months.

Mr Pieri has been really great from the get go. His knowledge, expertise, honesty and friendly personality made me feel confident and comfortable I was in the right hands. After babies I wanted to revive my breasts to look as natural as possible and fit well with my frame. Mr Pieri has done exactly that and I am really thrilled with the results. I would highly reccomend Mr Pieri!

I have been under the care of Mr Pieri at the RVI, Newcastle for nearly two years having been diagnosed with breast cancer. The treatment I have received from him has been excellent. During what was undoubtedly a challenging and upsetting time Mr Pieri has always given his time to answer my questions providing clear and detailed information in order that I could make informed choices. I have felt totally confident in the treatment I have received from him and very reassured by his open and compassionate approach.

I had a breast uplift in late March 2023, by Andrew Pieri and the short review is I am so happy with the results and service I received and would 100% recommend him to anyone as I do not have a bad word to say about my whole experience. And here is the long review… I had my first baby in 2019 and my second in 2021, I breastfed both for 12 months plus so my breasts have been every size from a double EE to B/C. Post breastfeeding I just did not like what I was left with. I started researching options after my first, but didn’t take any action until I knew I was not having anymore babies. I booked my appointment with Mr Pieri for a face to face consultation. I was really nervous, as a mum I had major ‘mum guilt’ about even just thinking about electing to put myself through something like this. I went into the appointment with loads of questions and being 50/50 about uplift vs implants. After a long chat about my desired outcome, my lifestyle and other factors, Mr Pieri went through all of my options, pros/cons, long term effects etc. I felt it was a really honest discussion and he put me completely at ease about the whole process and most importantly listened to me. As much as you can research online, chatting to an expert brings much more clarity. I didn’t feel like I was on a time limit and I really could ask anything I wanted to. I really could have been ‘upsold’ into implants but together we reached the conclusion that an uplift was the best option for my personal desired outcome. I was given all of the information and options and it was then up to me to decide if I wanted to go ahead. Obviously I decided I did and wanted an uplift. At no point did I feel under any pressure or obligation to commit to anything. Even if I hadn’t gone ahead with any surgery I’d have been happy with the discussion we’d had and the full understanding of my options. Once I’d committed, the next step was a second appointment, which was great to answer any questions I had and get a date booked in. For the location, the recommendation was Tyneside Surgical Services (TSS) in Team Valley, which I went with. I then had my pre assessment there, the facility is really nice, as are the staff. In this time between booking and the actual surgery date I felt I could (and did) email with any questions and got a quick response. Then the day of surgery arrived. I was nervous so I felt relieved when I was told my time to go in was early morning. The staff there welcomed me and Mr Pieri came to explain what would happen and draw on me. The anaesthetist came and went through the checks and procedures, again very nice and (tried) to put me at ease, everyone understood how I was feeling, although this whole process was a new experience for me, for everyone else involved they do this everyday, which is a reassuring thought! Then it was time to go… Once I woke up I wasn’t in any pain, just felt weird and tired from the anaesthetic (which is to be expected). I was monitored and told everything went well. Mr Pieri checked in with me, the nurses helped me get sorted and it wasn’t long before I was up and around and could go home. Before I left my next 2 check up appointments were booked in. I really was expecting to be in a lot more pain than I was. That evening I took some painkillers but after that I didn't really need them. It was more being uncomfortable from having to sleep more upright and on my back. Although I’d been told my breasts looked great, I hadn’t actually seen them until the next day when I changed my bra. That was an exciting moment and I was amazed at the difference. Although I was still bruised and swollen. I took it easy for this week, as advised, no heavy lifting or anything too strenuous. I wasn’t in pain, but probably a bit more tired than usual (although nothing like the tiredness of having a newborn so easy to get on with things). My first follow up appointment (a week after surgery) was at TSS, Mr Pieri checked how I was healing and my dressings were. It was the first chance to see my breasts without the dressings, again I was very happy with how it was all healing and looking. My second appointment was the following week, where my dressings and any stitches were removed and I could actually see everything properly. None of this was painful or even uncomfortable. Both of these appointments were a great place to ask any questions. However, I know that if I’d had any worries between these appointments I could have made contact and would have been seen. I am now nearly 3 weeks post op, still taking it easy (no high impact exercise). I can honestly say I am so glad I went through with it, yes the mum's guilt lingers but the recovery time was so good that my kids haven’t noticed anything different, my 1.5 year old has adapted to realising he has to sit on my knee rather than be picked up! There has been little to no pain, honestly breastfeeding was far more painful from the engorgement of my breasts to episodes of mastitis and just the early days of babies learning to latch, and then when they get teeth!! So if pain is a deciding factor then, in my experience it could be similar to mild sunburn for a couple of days. As I have previously said, I am so pleased with the results and the journey so far. I know they will ‘settle’ more still but I have never had breasts like this in my life! They don’t look ‘fake’, you would literally never know that I had ever had anything done. I have tried on clothes which I couldn’t previously wear due to bra situations and apart from anything else I am more comfortable as I couldn't get a comfy bra due to the saggy shape I previously had. The scars are really neat and uniformed and I’m confident they will fade in time but even if they didn’t, I don’t care, they won’t be on show. To me, Mr Pieri is a complete professional at the top of his game with a genuine passion for helping people achieve their personal aesthetic goals and I would recommend him to anyone.

I have recently had a breast uplift (mastoplexy) with Mr Pieri. The whole journey from consultation to surgery has been a really positive experience. Everything about the surgery was explained in detail. Any questions I had were answered fully which alleviated any concerns I had. It’s only been just over 2 weeks since my surgery. I’ve had minimal pain and the recovery has been smooth without any complications. The results already are amazing. The procedure has been something I’ve been considering for a while and I’m so glad I’ve had it done. I would highly recommend Mr Pieri.
