I cannot thank the surgeon and his team enough for the care I received throughout my breast surgery journey. From my very first consultation, I was made to feel completely at ease. My surgeon was incredibly friendly, approachable, and warm, while always maintaining the highest level of professionalism. He took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, listened to my concerns, and made me feel confident and reassured throughout the entire process. His calm and caring manner helped me feel comfortable from day one and completely confident that I was in safe hands. The hospital itself was wonderful. It was immaculate, modern, and so so clean, giving me complete confidence in the care I was receiving. Despite being so professional and clinical, it also felt comfortable, calming, and welcoming, which made a huge difference to my experience. On the day of surgery, the anaesthetist was also fantastic. He took the time to explain everything clearly and had such a kind and reassuring manner that any nerves I had quickly disappeared. The nurses were absolutely wonderful. They were kind, attentive, compassionate, and so reassuring. When I came around after the procedure, they looked after me so well and made sure I was comfortable at all times. Nothing was too much trouble, and I always felt genuinely cared for and supported. My pain has been minimal, the scarring is far less than I expected. During my first meeting with Andrew Pieri, I knew immediately that I had found the right surgeon to carry out my breast reduction surgery. When I first decided that I would like breast surgery, I searched on Google for surgeons in the local area. I chose Mr Pieri because I could see pre and post op pictures. I was impressed with his results, especially with the shape of the breasts. The whole process was simple, with good communication at each stage. I was well looked after on the day of the operation at the Beverley Hospital, where I had a bilateral breast reduction and uplift. I did not have any post operative pain. I am absolutely delighted with the size and shape of my breasts following the surgery. It has been four weeks since my operation and the scars are now quite faint. It is a life changing procedure. All of the discomfort that I had lived with for years (shoulder and back pain, sore and itchy skin under the breasts) has gone and I am very happy with how my clothes now fit.
