Mr Andrew Langston

Mr Andrew Langston is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee surgery. His practice is focused on lower limb joint replacement, including primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery, as well as knee arthroscopy.

After graduating in medicine from the University of Edinburgh in 1991, Mr Langston undertook surgical training in Edinburgh and Glasgow. He subsequently completed specialist orthopaedic training and further developed his experience in lower limb arthroplasty through fellowship training in Toronto, Canada. He was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Glasgow Royal Infirmary in 2002.

His clinical work includes the assessment and surgical treatment of hip and knee conditions, particularly degenerative joint disease and osteoarthritis. He performs total hip and knee replacements and revision procedures for patients who have previously undergone joint replacement surgery.

Mr Langston is also involved in the training and education of orthopaedic surgeons. His wider professional work has included involvement in the development and evaluation of hip and knee replacement surgery.
