Andrea Silva

Dr. Andrea Espitia is a highly skilled dentist with a wealth of experience in private practice and hospital settings. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, she began her career there before relocating to the UK in 2008. Upon completing the international qualifying examination regulated by the General Dental Council, she transitioned to private dentistry in the UK.

To further enhance her expertise, Dr. Espitia pursued a postgraduate diploma course in Clinical Dental Sciences at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute. This provided her with advanced knowledge in diagnosing and managing diseases of the Oral Cavity.

Driven by her passion for orthodontics, Dr. Espitia completed a Master's degree in Orthodontics awarded by Warwick University. Her special areas of interest include Orthodontics, minimally invasive cosmetic, and General Dentistry. She specialises in treating minor to moderate cases of Malocclusion using various methods such as invisible braces, cosmetic braces, and conventional braces. Dr. Espitia is particularly adept at working with children and anxious adult patients, ensuring they receive compassionate care.

As an active member of the British Dental Association (BDA), Dr. Espitia remains dedicated to advancing her knowledge and skills in dentistry. She regularly attends courses covering various aspects of Dentistry to stay abreast of the latest advancements and techniques.
