Dr Ana Borges

Miss Ana Borges is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon based in London, Kent and Sussex. She currently works at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and King’s College Hospital and specialises in breast procedures, as well as lower limb, chest wall, urological and major trauma reconstruction. She is also able to offer aesthetic surgery and is trained in a variety of breast procedures, as well as procedures which contour the body for example liposuction, abdominoplasty and arm and thigh lifts. Her clinical approach is highly personalised and patient-centred, and she works closely with those she sees to help obtain the best possible outcomes from her procedures.

Miss Borges graduated from Guy’s, King’s, and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in 2010. Following her surgical training, she gained further experience through completing a Microsurgical Breast Fellowship and a Lower Limb Reconstruction Fellowship in Sussex. She has additionally completed an Aesthetic Fellowship. She is a highly qualified surgeon and is a member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons as well as the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.

Throughout her career, Miss Borges has been passionate about medical education. She holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Medical Education and teaches both medical students and doctors. She contributes as a faculty member to a variety of surgical training courses, helping to develop the skills of those hoping to become Plastic and Reconstructive surgeons in the future. Miss Borges also applies her expertise to advancing medical knowledge in her field. She is a skilled clinical researcher, with much of her work being published in peer-reviewed journals, and she has presented her research at both national and international events.
