Ms Amy Todd

Amy Todd is a physiotherapist from South London, England, with a background in Sport Rehabilitation (BSc Hons) from St Mary’s University and a Physiotherapy MSc (Hons) from Brunel University. She joined Pure Sports Medicine in 2024 after returning from Dubai, where she spent three years as Therapy Lead at DISC JLT, treating musculoskeletal injuries in children, adults, and geriatrics. Prior to her time in Dubai, Amy spent a decade working with professional football clubs in the UK, including Chelsea Football Club’s Women’s First Team and Academy squads, as well as Crystal Palace FC, Fulham FC, and AFC Wimbledon. She also brings valuable experience from her roles in the British Military, NHS, and private sectors.

Amy’s favourite aspect of her work is meeting a diverse range of people and cultures, and helping them enhance their quality of life, achieve their goals, and reach their full potential. Her clinical expertise includes a focus on knee injuries, lower limb rehabilitation, pelvic stability, lower back conditions, and sports rehabilitation. She is particularly skilled in working with adolescent athletes, pre and post-surgery rehabilitation, and optimising performance in female athletes.

Outside of her clinical work, Amy is passionate about competitive cheerleading, having coached and performed for over 20 years. She represented England with Unity Allstars Ruby at the Cheerleading World Championships in 2016 and 2017, achieving an impressive fifth-place world ranking and securing third place in the Nations Cup as Europe’s top team.

Amy’s specialist interests include knee injuries, lower limb rehabilitation, return to play for athletes, musculoskeletal injury treatment, adolescent athlete care, and pre and post-surgery rehabilitation.
