About Mr Amro Hassaan
Mr Amro Hassaan is a Consultant ENT and Sleep Surgeon, specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of obstructive sleep apnoea and other sleep-related breathing disorders. With more than seven years’ experience as a consultant, he offers comprehensive surgical and non-surgical management for snoring and sleep apnoea, including procedures on the tongue, throat, palate, and nasal passages. He also provides expert care in general ENT surgery, with subspecialty interests in rhinology and paediatric ENT.
Mr Hassaan treats a wide range of conditions, from complex sinusitis and nasal obstruction to hearing and balance disorders, vocal diseases, head and neck cancer, and paediatric ear, nose, and throat problems. His surgical expertise includes grommet insertion, septoplasty, sinus surgery, and adult and paediatric tonsillectomy.
He is Co-Clinical Lead for ENT at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, Lead for Sleep Surgery at the same trust, and a member of the Pan-London ENT Clinical Reference Group. Previously, he worked as a Paediatric ENT Consultant at the Royal Free Hospital and provided tertiary airway care at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital, UCLH.
Mr Hassaan is also an Associate Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University and an active contributor to ENT and sleep surgery research.
