Dr. Amit Roy

Dr. Amit Roy is an experienced Consultant Radiologist who specialises in advanced diagnostic imaging and neuroradiology. Dedicated to delivering precise and timely diagnostic insights, he works closely with multidisciplinary teams of specialists to ensure patients receive the highest standard of tailored care. His clinical practice focuses on interpreting complex imaging studies to evaluate neurological, head and neck, and general medical conditions, helping guide accurate treatment planning and clinical management.

Within his field, Dr. Roy possesses expertise in neuroimaging, including brain and spinal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), and neurovascular reporting. He has a sub-specialist interest in head and neck imaging as well as paediatric neuroradiology, encompassing early life and foetal neuroimaging. Through the application of state-of-the-art diagnostic techniques, he provides comprehensive evaluations that assist in diagnosing trauma, structural abnormalities, vascular disorders, and oncological conditions.

Dr. Roy completed his undergraduate medical education, earning a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc). He progressed through rigorous post-graduate clinical training, achieving Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) and a Diploma in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (DOHNS). He subsequently attained Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR).
