Last year after scratching a skin breakout and its consequent infection I had 12 lots of antibiotics, a month of oral steroids and steroid cream. The skin in between thighs, and back of thighs was constantly open, bleeding and weeping and smelt which sickened me. I was in absolute agony for the whole year and could not do anything . Most days i cried and had to go to bed ; I could not sit down at all. I had no life except pain which was agonising. I was referred to Dr Alpa Kanji in March who switched up my treatment regime. As a result of that , my skin healed, is not weeping or bleeding or smelling. I’m not in agony. I’m not in pain. How could I ever thank this marvellous doctor for letting me be able to live. I can go out and about. I can see people, do things I like doing. My son has four little children I only get to see 3 times a year. On one occasion I had gone to see them and had to get a cab back home after 20 minutes. His chair had blood over it, I smelt and I was in agony..my life was like a leper… I thought my life was over. Seriously. Also I didn’t want to live in constant agony. Now I’m well and I am so grateful I saw Dr Kanji. She had given my life back to me.
Dr Kanji is extremely thorough, kind and caring. It is apparent how much she cares for her patients. Concentrating on getting their views as well as giving the best possible treatment and care. Thank you

It was a great appointment. Dr Alpa was really great and thorough and I felt very comfortable throughout the appointment.
I recently had an appointment with Dr. Alpa Kanji and found her to be both professional and compassionate. I arrived feeling quite anxious and worried, but she immediately put me at ease with her calm and understanding manner. Dr. Kanji explained everything clearly and honestly, taking the time to answer my questions and ensure I understood the situation. While she was open about the issues that need investigating, she was also reassuring and supportive, which helped reduce a lot of my anxiety. I left feeling informed, listened to, and much more positive about the next steps. I would highly recommend Dr. Kanji to anyone looking for a consultant who combines expertise with genuine kindness and empathy.
