Dr Alec Paschalis

Dr Alec Paschalis is a Consultant Medical Oncologist and Clinical Researcher specialising in the management and treatment of complex adult cancers, with a particular focus on urological malignancies. Combining clinical expertise with a commitment to advancing cancer care, he provides individualised, patient-centred treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs. Dr Paschalis is dedicated to guiding patients through complex diagnostic and therapeutic journeys, ensuring clear communication, empathetic support, and high-quality care at every stage.

Dr Paschalis completed his foundational medical education and obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree, followed by extensive postgraduate specialist training in internal medicine and Medical Oncology. To deepen his understanding of cancer biology and therapeutic mechanisms, he earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused on translational cancer research. He holds Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and maintains active engagement in leading professional medical organisations dedicated to advancing oncology clinical standards and research.

In his clinical practice, Dr Paschalis specialises in early-phase clinical trials, novel drug development, and strategies to overcome resistance to anti-cancer therapies. His areas of clinical interest include advanced prostate cancer, cancer cell metabolism, alternative gene splicing, myeloid cell infiltration, and targeted combination immunotherapies.
