Dr Ajit Kishore

Dr Ajit Kishore is an experienced Consultant Interventional and Diagnostic Radiologist who provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging and advanced image-guided therapies. With a strong commitment to delivering precise and reassuring care, Dr Kishore works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and minimally invasive treatment options tailored to each patient's individual needs.

His clinical focus encompasses a wide spectrum of diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures. Dr Kishore has a sub-specialist interest in interventional oncology, performing targeted procedures designed to treat complex conditions with minimal downtime. His procedural expertise includes image-guided tissue sampling, such as ultrasound-guided biopsies and percutaneous liver biopsies, as well as the insertion of long-term vascular access devices, including image-guided implantable central venous ports (portacaths).

Dr Kishore completed his undergraduate medical studies at the University of Leeds, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc). He subsequently undertook specialist training in Clinical Radiology in the West Midlands before completing an advanced fellowship in Canada focusing on interventional oncology. His professional credentials include Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR), certification from the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Kishore is actively involved in medical education and the integration of health technology innovations into patient care.
