Ms Aimee McEvilly

Ms Aimee McEvilly is a highly experienced Dietitian specialising in paediatric nutrition. With nearly 10 years of expertise as a registered Dietitian for the NHS (National Health Service), Ms McEvilly has a wealth of knowledge and skills in her field. She currently holds the position of Clinical Specialist in General Paediatrics at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, where she focuses on providing exceptional care to children, and also sees private patients at The Vesey Private Hospital. Ms McEvilly completed her Bachelor’s degree in Human Physiology at the University of Leeds in 2010, followed by her Master’s degree in Dietetics at Queen Margaret University in 2013.

Ms McEvilly has expertise in managing children with food allergies. She understands the challenges that parents face when trying to unravel the underlying causes of their child's unexplained symptoms, especially when confronted with conflicting advice from various healthcare professionals. Ms McEvilly is committed to offering prompt support and guidance to alleviate symptoms and instil confidence in parents when it comes to feeding their children.

As a mother herself, Ms McEvilly has first-hand experience in managing reflux, weaning, and dealing with a fussy toddler. This personal experience enhances her ability to provide practical and tailored advice that takes into account the unique dynamics of each family. She believes in offering expert guidance that is not only based on her professional knowledge but also considers the challenges that parents face.

Alongside her expertise in food allergies, she also provides specialised advice in the following areas: weaning and delayed weaning, reflux & colic, diarrhoea, constipation, faltering growth, tube feeding & weaning, vegetarian and vegan diets, selective eating and autism & selective eating.
