Dr Adel Helmy

Dr Adel Helmy is an accomplished Consultant Neurosurgeon and Associate Professor who specialises in complex neurosurgical procedures and acute brain injury management. Focusing on skull base surgery, neurovascular conditions, and neurotrauma, Dr Helmy provides comprehensive clinical assessment and advanced surgical treatment for patients experiencing critical neurological conditions. His approach combines cutting-edge surgical technique with a supportive, patient-focused ethos, ensuring that individuals and their families receive clear guidance throughout diagnosis and recovery.

Dr Helmy earned his undergraduate medical degrees, Master of Arts (MA), Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB BChir), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neurosurgery through extensive academic and clinical training. He completed specialist higher surgical training in neurosurgery, attaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Surgical Neurology (FRCS (SN)). To broaden his surgical expertise, he undertook an international post-specialist fellowship in skull base surgery in Brisbane, Australia.
