Dr Adam Sharp

Dr Adam Sharp is a distinguished Consultant Medical Oncologist who specialises in the treatment and management of advanced prostate cancer and complex urological malignancies. With a core focus on translational therapeutics and target-driven care, Dr Sharp is dedicated to providing personalised treatment plans tailored to the specific diagnostic needs of each patient. His clinical scope encompasses early-phase drug development, novel targeted anti-cancer treatments, and the management of hormone-resistant malignancies, ensuring patients receive modern, evidence-based care.

Dr Sharp earned a First-Class Honours degree in Biochemistry and Pharmacology from the University of Southampton in 2001, before completing a PhD in Cancer Sciences in 2005. He subsequently completed his medical degree at the University of Southampton in 2009 and undertook specialist postgraduate training in London. In 2012, he attained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP). His extensive dual background in laboratory research and clinical medicine provides him with deep insights into the biological mechanisms driving cancer growth and therapeutic resistance.
