Mrs Abir Hamza-Goodacre is a British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) Registered Nutritional Therapist, offering nutrition and lifestyle coaching to help clients feel healthy, productive and in control of their wellness. She has over 10 years’ experience in the field of nutrition, providing a personalised, evidence-based and practical approach to health. At Benenden Hospital, she works in the Bariatrics team to support patients through their weight loss journey with nutrition and lifestyle advice that is tailored to individual needs and goals. Her areas of expertise are weight and blood sugar management, digestive health, female hormonal health and nutritional and lifestyle interventions for children with learning and developmental challenges.
Mrs Hamza-Goodacre gained her degree in Nutritional Therapy from the University of West London in 2012 and also holds an MSc in international poverty and aid work, specialising in community-based projects. She is also the Community & Partnerships Director at BANT - their vision is for a healthier population through informed nutrition and lifestyle choices and members are the leading nutritional therapists in the country.
