Veritas Pharmacy & Private Clinic

Veritas Pharmacy & Private Clinic is a GPhC-registered pharmacy and private clinic in Sunderland, providing both private healthcare and NHS pharmacy services. Many of its private services can be booked for the same day and are available without a GP referral.

The private clinic covers blood tests, blood pressure checks, earwax removal, hormone testing, phlebotomy, urine testing, vitamin injections, weight management, smoking cessation and occupational health services. Travel health is another part of the clinic's work, with consultations based on a patient's itinerary, health history and vaccination status. Veritas is an approved Yellow Fever vaccination centre and can administer the vaccine and issue an International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis where required.

Veritas also provides NHS Pharmacy First, contraception and emergency contraception services, NHS prescription dispensing and the New Medicine Service. Its blood testing options include rapid in-clinic markers and laboratory panels, while telehealth extends access to consultations beyond the Sunderland clinic.
