Patients consistently describe staff interactions at The Sleep Disorders Clinic as prompt. The clinic streamlines the entire process from initial assessment to therapy. This helps many patients achieve improvements in their health and overall well-being. Outcomes commonly relate to Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) diagnosis through Sleep Studies and management with Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) therapy.
So pleased I found The Sleep Disorder clinic. As I was told I may of have a sleep apnea problem and my snoring was becoming intolerable for my wife I decided on a sleep study and chose this clinic for the two night study (others I found offered only one night). On having my condition confirmed I chose to purchase the Lowenstien Prisma CPAP package. With the help of expert guidance from Joseph I soon became comfortable using the machine and found the back up from him was most reassuring as began my therapy. I have been using the machine for over a month now I am delighted with the results to date. I would highly recommend The Sleep Disorder Clinic to anyone suffering similar symptoms to myself. Excellent service all round!
I did a sleep test and proceeded to the CPAP through online meetings. Joseph was very supportive throughout the transition onto using the CPAP machine and the regular feedback and review sessions aided immensely the normalisation of CPAP therapy. Very satisfied with the whole process from initial contact , sleep study and review and product selection and all without any pressure selling
I first reached out to the Sleep Disorders Clinic at the end of March this year, after years of struggling to get anywhere through the NHS. I’d been waiting two and a half years for results from four separate NHS sleep studies - and still hadn’t received any answers. I was constantly exhausted. For the last five or six years I’d put it down to having children, work, and getting older, but it was getting worse and worse. I was struggling to stay awake during the day, falling asleep on trains despite strong coffees and early nights, and even drifting mid-conversation. I had no idea what was wrong, and had never even heard of sleep apnoea until my GP mentioned it. Around the same time, both my Apple Watch and my Oura Ring started alerting me to frequent breathing disturbances during sleep and advised me to seek medical help. After getting nowhere through the NHS, I spoke to a private doctor who suggested I try a CPAP machine. I ordered one online, and within an hour Joseph from the Sleep Disorders Clinic contacted me personally. He explained that before starting CPAP, it was important to have a proper sleep study so the therapy could be tailored to my needs. We agreed to do a two-day sleep study, and the kit arrived the very next day. By this point I’d done several NHS studies, so I knew the routine - but the Sleep Disorders Clinic’s instructions were clear and straightforward. I completed both nights and sent the kit back by next-day delivery. Within an hour of it being received, Joseph got in touch. He went through my results in detail, showing me the graphs and explaining...
Read moreI can’t thank Joseph enough for the care and guidance he provided during my journey with sleep apnoea. I was originally on the NHS waiting list but chose to go ahead with a private sleep study, diagnosis, and CPAP treatment through Joseph. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health. I was diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnoea with an AHI score of 35.5. After starting on CPAP therapy, Joseph worked closely with me to adjust the pressure settings, which significantly reduced my AHI score and transformed my quality of life. Since starting CPAP, I’ve experienced incredible improvements — my sleep is finally restorative, my anxiety and low mood have lifted, reflux symptoms have reduced, teeth grinding has eased, and my daily headaches have completely disappeared. I truly feel like a new person. Joseph also provided invaluable advice about the hereditary nature of sleep apnoea. He suggested that if my children snored, they should be checked too. Thanks to his insight, I had my daughter assessed and she was found to have the same condition. She recently had successful treatment through a tonsillectomy — something I might not have caught so early without Joseph’s warning. I’m extremely grateful for his expertise, clear communication, and compassionate care throughout this process. I wholeheartedly recommend Joseph to anyone struggling with sleep-related issues.
I approached the Sleep Disorders Clinic after having multiple set-backs progressing what was suspected to by OSA with the NHS. After several years of failed sleep studies, cancelled appointments and general shortfalls, I was not coping very well. I was referred to the Sleep Disorders Clinic, and after explaining my issues and concerns, Joseph was very quick to display a sleep study to me, and had the results back with me very quickly. It was very clear I needed a CPAP device, and again, one was setup and dispatched on the same day we went through my results. After receiving my CPAP machine (the next day!), there was a quick session to go through mask fitting, machine setup, general maintenance etc and I was good to go. My quality of life and sleep has improved dramatically, and I am able to go all night with my CPAP machine. It has been great to go through the results each week with Joseph and seeing a solid improvement with the data. I have been very happy throughout and am thrilled to be able to operate like a normal human again!
The whole experience from start to finish has been amazing !! The professional help and support through the process was great and it has changed my life in the space of 30 days, amazing and thank you soo much to Joseph Gannon.
From start to finish, Joseph was professional, friendly and extremely patient. He never gave me the feeling that 'the metre was running' (which these days is sadly all too rare) and was always pro-active in offering me further appointments until any issues I had were fully ironed out. This has helped a lot, given that it's not the easiest thing to get used to using a CPAP. I have already recommended their service to a friend. Thank you, The Sleep Disorders Clinic.
I have nothing but positive things to say about this clinic. Super speedy, helpful response to my initial enquiry. Reassurance every step of the way. Machine arrived within a couple of days. Support on how to use it the very day it arrived. Weekly support during the first few weeks, with great ideas of how to combat minor issues. Felt supported every step of the way. I am extremely grateful.
Great experience overall (through weekly calls and updates). No problems to reschedule when needed. However, physical consultations would help at least once, at the beginning of the process, when fitting mask, in my view

GP doesn’t believe me… “ I went to my GP 4 times about feeling sleepy in the day and was just fobbed off and told it was my age and told to get on with life. A friend asked if I snore and I said yes and she suggested it might be Sleep Apnoea. I had never heard of it so I looked online and all my symptoms matched. I wen
