I had online therapy with Willis Atherley-Bourne and I cannot praise him highly enough. His ability to draw out the key themes while maintaining such a balance of empathy and humour was incredible. I felt supported throughout and it was a 'journey' in that Willis always remembered what we had discussed in the previous week and so his work always built on previous sessions. Thank you Willis.

Sarah is a phenomenal therapist. She has been fundamental to my personal journey and has given me tools to sustain long term success without her. Also reception team like Claire have always been really welcoming and friendly.

Pre and post COVID-19 the service we have been receiving since we engaged with the therapists has been exceptional. When you consider the challenges we have all faced this year, the signs of improvement with our son and his specific challenges has been amazing. We are enormously grateful to the team.

The experience I had at Priory Hayes was great from the beginning. From the friendly reception team to my Therapist Sarah Maddocks. Sarah was really easy to build a connection with and is a great listener. Once we had gotten to know each other and identified some of my ongoing concerns (anxiety and depression) she started to help me get to the origin of these and provided me with a heap of practical tools that I have used to alleviate these symptoms. If I do ever feel anxious now I have the tools to process, self soothe and manage my emotions even when in stressful situations or environments. We worked together to identify and process traumatic events that had left me with crippling anxiety and little hope that I would ever feel any better than I did. I had very little self worth and this had influenced decisions and behaviours in my life since I was a child. I now can confidently say that this has improved dramatically and I now truly understand my own worth. The way Sarah balanced the sessions with practical and emotional support really worked for me. I learnt a lot about myself and how the brain reacts to trauma and found the whole process extremely helpful. We did EMDR which I really benefitted from and the relapse prevention plan we put in place at the end of my sessions left me not only feeling extremely proud of my progress but also reassured me that I have the tools available in place for when I need them.

I was fortunate enough to be referred for therapy sessions with Sanchari Lahiri at Hayes Priory. It is no exaggeration to say that working with her has changed my life so much for the better. Sanchari is warm and empathetic but also knows exactly when to push and challenge. The Priory has always been supportive for which I am grateful, but for me, it has been working with Sanchari that has been positively life changing.

My daughter is autistic and suffers from a severe eating disorder. The eating disorder team at Hayes Grove did a wonderful job looking after her, particularly the consultant Dr Lauren Gavaghan and the ward manager Aisha Kibirige and many of the support staff. As a family we will always be grateful for their care and support.
