With the current delays in NHS cataract surgery waitlists, those in need can be referred to Optegra through their GPs and opticians to receive cataract treatment in a fraction of the time.
Alongside treatment for cataracts, Optegra Maidstone, offers Laser Eye Surgery (including LASIK, LASEK, Presbyond, ReLEx SMILE and ICL surgery), lens replacement and YAG laser capsulotomy.Â
The team at Optegra Sheffield consists of leading consultants specialised in ophthalmology with several years of experience. These consultants are supported by eye care specialists, so patients can rest assured that they will receive the best care available.
Optegra is dedicated to providing excellent eye care for their patients. Thus, they utilise the latest technology and all care is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). For my first appointment I was told to be there 15 mins early, I eventually saw someone 1 hour 10 mins after my original appointment time
The whole operation was slick and friendly and i experienced no problems with the surgery
My experience was professional throughout. Staff were friendly courteous, and I was included in the treatment from first appointment. I particularly, like the ward as it was not overcrowded and waiting was minimum. It was spacious which gives me the space to walk without knocking into obstacles (using crutches). Also, getting corresponding was various. I like that as computer is not my g to. Letters, text or phone call as not everyone is competent using one. The only downside in the beginning, was the robot. I was repeating what I say a few times and still it couldn't pickup the accent. How do you understand it?
It was clean friendly lovely staff no waiting time would go again if I had to go again.
Cannot find fault with the care or facilities. The friendliness and knowledge and expertise of the staff cannot be faulted. Have already recommended Optegra , Sheffield , several times
