My experience at Oasis Runcorn has been helpful towards my recovery. It has gave me my voice back and knowing its ok to speak about what is on my mind, no matter if it is positive or negative. It has taught me coping skills for my anxiety and that i can sit and process emotions rather than just acting on them and this lead to me making silly decisions. I have learnt that i have a disease within addictive and i am not just 'not normal'. It gave me an opportunity to attend NA/CA/AA meeting within the comfort of my peers to then allow me to feel confident to attend them on my own once i am home.

Different from my first time as different peers. In a way it has helped me to sit with my emotions and feelings better. I have also learnt that i come first and i need to protect myself and keep me safe.

Some of the rooms smell a bit for whatever reason, the dining room needed a deep clean. The big cabin and 1 to 1 therapy rooms were closed for part of my stay which made it difficult to get work done sometimes and focus. The therapist and the plan is brilliant though, you will get out what you put in.

The building needs some upgrading and work done, I have learnt somethings and I need to see a therapist. Its very expensive. The staff are very approachable.

I felt my treatment at Oasis was tailored to my needs. All therapists where supportive and my allocated therapist was a good suit for me . Support staff where all professional and supportive.

The therapy has made me look at myself in a totally different way and has given me different tools to move on to the next chapter in my life. If I haven't come in here I know I would be dead. Oasis Runcorn has saved my life.
