Been an experience but a life lesson

I came into oasis at a very low point in my life, very bad health and mobility, im leaving now as someone who is fully functional, 100 percent healthier and a realization how dangerous alcohol can be.

I had a good experience, learnt alot about my self and my addiction and how to handle as much as i can when i leave. staff are really good friendly but professionals, would recommend to anyone struggling in active addiction.

If anyone needs help, Oasis is the place to be to recover, i would most certainly recommend Oasis to anyone who needs to stop their addiction.

Overall my experience was okay, it was what I was expecting. The 12 step programme was a good programme to work, which has helped me a lot in my recovery. I have left the facility feeling fulfilled with the service. It would have been nicer to have a few more outdoor - out of the clinic activities in our free time. eg being taken to the shops to buy our own shopping, maybe an activity such as swimming or the gym.

I feel that my stay in Oasis has saved my life. I was in a real mess before I came in and I struggled with the anxiety of integrating in to a group. I have worked on myself so much in my time here I feel like a different person. I don't think I need further help with anxiety and depression and I am leaving with hope for the future. The staff have all been great and everyone has been very supportive.

Overall, I believe the treatment plan to have been effective. The staff were all helpful and the therapists involved and dedicated to helping people in their recovery. I feel 28 days is quite a short period to make such a major life change but I do feel that I have been pointed in the right direction and given the tools, as best as possible, to progress my journey from here. I still have a lot to learn and now the emphasis is on me to further my spiritual development and make the necessary life changes.

I have had a positive experience whilst at Oasis. All the staff are friendly, supportive and kind. I was able to be admitted within days of first contact with Oasis.

I have really enjoyed my time at Oasis. It has given me the space and time to focus on myself and my addiction and helped me start to build the tools I need to manage my addition in the outside world. I feel like I have learned a lot about myself and my addiction.

i had a good experience at oasis runcorn, it gave me a chance to step back from the chaos that was ensuing in my daily life and really reflect on the things i was doing and how it was effecting my life and the people around me . Everyone was also very friendly.
