Oasis Runcorn

Overall been very helpful in my recovery , staff members are very good and meet some very nice people.

I have had a very positive experience at Oasis Runcorn and hope to continue with everything I have learnt in the outside world.

Overall I found the stay here very helpful in my journey to recovery. The staff were great, food was nice. I feel I have the knowledge to carry on with sobriety in the real world by attending regular meetings, finding a sponsor and following the 12 step programme. Would recommend it to anyone who is looking to get clean.

I cannot speak more highly of Oasis Runcorn. The staff are absolutely amazing - they are compassionate, kind, clear about the rules, firm about the rules, motivational, always available if you need anything, an they work so incredibly hard. They have helped me to change/save my life.

There is no doubt in my mind that without the help and support of Oasis Runcorn I would have continued on my path towards destruction and most likely death. Coming here was one of the best decisions of my life. The care, support, therapeutic and counselling sessions were invaluable in putting me on the right path and set me up for the next stage of my recovery. The team here have instigated a change in me in one month that prior to walking though the door I would not have thought possible. The time I have spent at Oasis has quiet literally saved my life.

One of the best experiences in my life, considering all my time in addiction, i would recommend for everyone to come if they have any problems.

There is no doubt in my mind that if it wasnt for Oasis Runcorn i would have continued on the path of sellf destruction that i was on to the bitter end. the therapy team have managed to do something in my life that i would have thought impossible just 12 weeks ago. If you do as suggested in this environment you can achieve something incredibly worthwhile. The support staff are always there to facilitate any reasonable request but are also aware enough to deny requests that would hamper a residents progress. The food is really good and the cleaning staff do an excellent job despite having to clean up after some very messy people. It could quite easily be 5 stars in this respect. What i will say is that the Centre looks a little tired and worn and needs a bit of attention. I had to wait 10 days to get in here. So, again it could have been 5 stars. Definitely the best thing i have ever done.

I found the therapeutic activities, self-reflection models and counselling techniques very valuable, informative and useful in my continuing recovery. I feel that the type and level of support available was empowering in my future recovery. The overall experience was of a very thorough, well-planned out programme that I would recommend to anyone in need of rehabilitation from substance misuse.

My decison to come to Oasis Runcorn has been genuinely one of the best decisions I have made. I didn't believe that what I gained would be so insightful. I have made break throughs via my therapist and through chatting with other residents, through this and feedback I now understand better as to why this addiction started and had such a hold over me for so long. I cant thank you all enough. You have given me hope and confidence that my life can be great without the need for my substance, and that I don't need it to be me.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my 28 days at Oasis Runcorn. I was instantly made aware of behaviours i was actively practicing and how damaging they were to me, those close to me and those i am around daily. I worked on this with my therapist and was given the space to practice correcting the behavious in the community. I wish i could stay longer to get more out of the 1-2-1 therapy sessions. I will however be seeking this out when i leave Runcorn Oasis. The staff are extremely fair, friendly and will go out of the way to look after me. There is a reason behind everything the staff put in place here and as soon as i accepted that i was able to get my head down and start working on myself - which is what i am here for.
