Hi, My experience at Runcorn Oasis has been life changing hopefully. The whole experience has been amazing. Its not been easy identifying triggers and dealing with deeply hidden emotions and past events that could have been partly or wholly part of my addiction. The whole process requires honesty, and openness, with not just therapists but with peers in structured sessions. All staff have have been great and respectful and empathetic.

during my stay [10 weeks] summer 2025, no apprehensions about being here or arrival [ as i was kindly brought here from your Prior Detox at Bradford facility .] Greeted by Katherine and made welcome , bags re-checked, and made most welcome . After first night was relocated to ground floor room [ for which i am grateful (kerry)] due to walking stick Sciatica problem . The workshops were always dynamic , encouraging us to challenge each others morals. Which lead to a deeper understanding of my peers defects of character. Thoroughly enjoyable, this method of therapy clearly works for this client. Last minute alterations to time tables, whilst annoying to some clients, i believe are a test of our ability to cope with change and a very good tactic by the team.

Absolutely amazing. I stayed here 6 months and am walking out a total different version of myself. I can finally see a future. Staff were amazing, I have 0 faults. This has been the best decision of my life choosing Oasis Runcorn and have made friends for life.

I've loved been here the staff go over and beyond for everyone the therapy is fantastic. I'm actually gutted I'm leaving I never thought id of said that when I first arrived.

I came in to Oasis for 14 days for a severe alcohol problem in need of medical withdrawal. I was able to get a private place in 3 days. As well as the well-managed 11 day detox, there were group sessions, meetings and workshops as well as 1 2 1s to aid recovery. Staff, accommodation and food were excellent.

Oasis has been the best experience of my life it has changed my life, my kids life and my whole families, the staff are amazing and passionatly care about every single person, the staff and the community are like one big family helping and supporting each other im going to miss being here so much its helped me gain an amazing future what i never believed i could have il always be eternally grateful for oasis

I have just finished my 12 week stay at Oasis Runcorn, having completed rehab twice before. I am very glad I chose to come to here, the staff really genuinely care about everyone and I really liked the person centred approach and the input I had in what I shared and how my treatment/care plan progressed. All the staff from the therapy team, support staff, housekeepers, chefs and maintenance staff have been amazing. I was quite nervous about coming into a centre with such a large group (this varied between 20-28 whilst I've been here) but all my peers have been amazing, kind, friendly and supportive. I'd definitely recommend Oasis Runcorn for anyone seeking help with their addiction and wanting a new way of life. The only criticism I have is that some of the pre-admission information is incorrect and could do with updating. I was disappointed that DBT wasn't on for a number of weeks, as this was a type of therapy I was really looking forward to doing. I think there could be a higher focus on physical wellbeing in terms of longer walks and fitness classes as the wellbeing support in relation to mental health, emotional wellbeing and spiritual aspects are excellent. It would also be beneficial for clients to be able to go to the shops in groups rather than having staff do the shopping or ordering online. I haven not been in a shop for 12 weeks now and I do feel a bit nervous about going out on my own and facing alcohol for the first time.
