About Myla Health

Myla Health's doctors specialise in perimenopause and menopause but see a wide range of female health conditions. The team of female doctors are experts in their field and dedicated to empowering women to take control of their health. They understand that each woman is different and therefore offer personalised treatment plans according to your needs.
The founders of Myla Health, Dr Olivia Hum and Dr Zoe Schaedel, have a combined 30 years of experience working as NHS GPs specialising in women's health, hormonal health, and contraception. They are both accredited by the British Menopause Society (BMS) and are also trainers in their field. All of their associates are experienced GPs who specialise in women's health and menopause. Some specialise in the effect of hormones on migraine, sleep and ADHD.
Other conditions treated include PMS, PMDD, migraine, sleep problems, vulval dryness, and painful or irregular periods.
Initial consultations take 45 minutes and involve learning about your symptoms and the effects they have on your daily life. Medication may then be prescribed, or further information can be sent to your NHS GP to assist with your treatment plan. Any blood tests required can be done on the day at any of our private hospital locations, or ordered via an online provider.

I am so relieved having visited Dr Dodson. She really put my mind at ease and the medication arrived the next day. I’m looking forward to my journey through peri-menopause now.
Listened as I spoke, took medical history into consideration and gave me her diagnoses. I'm quite young for the onset of perimenopause and have been dismissed by doctors in the past. It was nice to not feel ignored and have somebody explain next steps in as simple terms as possible.
I had a video appointment with Dr Schaedel. I felt much better after speaking with Dr Schaedel. . She really listened to my concerns and observations and made me feel completely at ease. I appreciated the time she took to understand how I’ve been feeling. It was also very helpful that she offered easy access to my prescriptions for the next year, which gives me reassurance and continuity of care. I’m very pleased that I decided to change clinics and feel confident about my care going forward
Online appointment, very friendly and approachable doctor. Answered my questions and provided advice, I had also previously spoken to a member of the support team while setting up my appointment and she was very helpful and friendly too.
The receptionist was friendly and professional on arrival. The seating area was clean and comfortable.
Dr Kate was so helpful and thoughtful. The information she gave was helpful and explained everything clearly although I still.got confused over patches.
