After many months of difficulties prompted by the sudden loss of my husband, I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. Communication with Kernow Psychiatry has been very responsive and I booked an initial appointment to discuss my mental health difficulties. Dr Reid welcomed me into a comfortable room at the wellness hub, she immediately put me at ease and took care make sure I was settled and ready to start. After the hour, Dr Reid summarised what she saw as the key priorities to getting me back on an even keel, suggesting a clear approach to addressing my intersecting issues. I am looking forward to my follow up appointment and the start of my recovery treatment plan. I only wish I’d followed my instincts sooner and booked in months ago.

From start to finish it was a worthwhile experience, we were made to feel welcome and Jemma helped us to feel at ease by her warm gentle approach. Even though we were anxious about the assessment, we were able to trust that Jemma knew and understood how my daughter was suffering and her knowledge was evident by her questions and responses. My daughter broke down in tears at the end of the assessment because at last someone understood and validated her

I found Dr Reid on line, made an appointment to see her at the Wellbeing Hub, Falmouth. I felt at ease with her straight away and she listened to my ongoing problems with anxiety, towards the end of session she recommended a change of medication with a review in 3 weeks time. I had every confidence in her decision and felt relieved that someone was interested in my problem. I can highly recommend Dr Jemma Reid, an amazing experience for me and I’m well pleased with the way I feel today.
