The Bolton clinic, opened in May 2017 following a complete refurbishment of the existing premises, is located in Bolton Town Centre. The clinic is modern, spacious and welcoming.
Freedom Vision have the expertise of some of the UK's most reputable and experienced consultant ophthalmologists. The team at each location is passionate about providing 5-star care and treatment to their patients. The team are patient-centred and care deeply about their patients eye health & vision and lifestyle in order to choose the right eye treatment that suits the patients' lives and futures.
Following cataract surgery, patients have many options for their replacement lenses (intraocular lenses) and have the help of their consultant in making the best decision. Lens options include standard lens implants, multifocal lenses and toric lenses.
Each Freedom Vision clinic is home to the most state-of-the-art equipment. Each patient is treated as an individual, ensuring that they receive the visual outcome they want, delivered with precise care and attention. YAG laser capsulotomy is also available to patients who develop posterior capsule opacification, a common occurrence following cataract surgery.

My overall experIence was very good. I did have to wait a long time before being seen when having my first cataract operation. For the second op and for my checkups the waiting times were not so long. Maybe you could tell people what the waiting time is.

Excellent experience as always. I have been to this site many times since my cataract surgery in Gebruary abd I an always made to feel welcome. The men in reception who welcome you in are great ambassadors fir soap nedica as they make you feel special and cared for aa soon as you walk through the doors. The way they welcome you as you arrive, escort you to the relevant department and wave you off when you leave us second to none.i would expect that anyone who was nervous would immediately be put at ease. They are an asset to your service.
