I was having a mental health crisis and the administrative staff were very kind to me.

After moving to Edinburgh from the United States, one of the biggest challenges I faced was finding a GP who truly understood my complex medical history and the differences between the US and UK healthcare systems. It had been a frustrating experience until I met Dr. Alanna Merrie. From the moment I walked into her office, she listened with genuine care, compassion, and patience. She took the time to understand not only my medical conditions but also the journey that brought me here. I never felt rushed or dismissed. Instead, I felt heard, understood, and respected. What impressed me most was that she didn't just listen. She developed a thoughtful plan, explained the next steps clearly, and gave me confidence that I was finally in the right hands. After weeks of uncertainty, that reassurance meant more than I can express. If you're looking for a GP who combines outstanding clinical knowledge with kindness, empathy, and a truly patient-centered approach, I cannot recommend Dr. Merrie highly enough. She has earned my complete trust, and I can genuinely say I have found my GP for life. Thank you, Dr. Merrie, for making such a positive difference when I needed it most.

Everything went smoothly and staff were very helpful

My appointments were with Dr David Richardson. I could not be happier and these appointments have been the best thing I ever did for my health. Dr Richardson takes the time to listen and is very knowledgable to the point he is the only doctor that I've met in the last 10+ years (and I've met quite a few!) that has helped me hugely with a chronic condition I suffer from by prescribing Rx that truly has helped me. My life has improved drastically in that I now have control of my chronic condition rather than the other way around. I would rate Dr Richardson AAA+++

Very friendly welcome from receptionist. Not long to wait. Was very much at ease right away. In fact so much time chatting my prescription was forgotten! Will definitely use again

First class, positive, very informative and helpful

I visited Dr Shona Williamson for a skin rash on my face that continued to spread during my trip. She was very patient as she explained what it was and answered all my questions clearly. Within a day or 2 of her treatment plan, my skin cleared up & the itch/stinging sensations reduced significantly. I’m really grateful for her and the team for their help with this!
