I booked an appointment with private GP, Dr Alison Johnstone. The reception staff are friendly & efficient & the waiting area is a pleasant environment, with beverages you can help yourself to. Dr Johnstone was very thorough with her examinations & offered me a blood test. She emailed me with the results later that day. A very positive experience all round.

Appointments were readily available, with little waiting time. The staff were all very welcoming. Dr Bailey was very approachable and listened well; she was very supportive. I felt at ease and not pressured.

Excellent service provided by Dr Johnstone. Very professional, knowledgeable, good interpersonal skills and an active listener. I always leave feeling well informed and listened to. Jo and Zoe , the GP medical secretaries, are also amazing in their interaction, friendly yet diligent in their approach.

Always prompt and efficient and take time to understand the issue. All the staff are fabulous.

I think an invitation from reception to get your own cuppa would be handy. If it is someone’s first time there they don’t know they can freely move around in that way and make one. Thank you

Dr Johnstone is a wonderful GP who I’ve been going to for many years. She is very patient, friendly, kind and caring. The Candover Clinic has a wonderful serene feel to it, with coffee and biscuits, and all the staff are so friendly, from the reception team, the nurses and Jo, Dr Johnstone’s wonderful secretary. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
