I went to see Dr Nunes regarding the location of a fibroid and if it should be removed for fertility purposes. She was knowledgable, kind, understanding and answered all of my questions with great detail and addressed all my concerns and respected my choices. She gave me several options for treatment plans alongside her recommendation and provided all this information in an email. Highly recommend.

Dr Purohit is an expert in fibroids. He is very patient and compassionate and was happy to answer my many questions before and after the surgery (open myomectomy). He advised me of all the options so that I could make informed decisions. The actual surgery went really well and the incision was very neat, so the scar is healing very well. Dr Lai took over my care when I found out my baby was measuring small in the third trimester. He was so reassuring and calm throughout the many scans we had and explained everything to me so I was prepared for everything when baby came. I went to my appointment for a Mirena coil fitting having heard many bad stories from friends about how unpleasant having them inserted can be. My experience with Mr Holland was the exact opposite - it felt no worse than a smear test and whilst uncomfortable at times, it was generally very tolerable and Mr Holland was very efficient. I also appreciated that it was guided by ultrasound (as I understand that’s not always the case) so I left confident that it is in the right place.

My c section went extremely smoothly and my recovery was fantastic, which I credit to Mr Wimalasundera entirely! I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Mr Wimalasundera if I were to become pregnant again. Indeed I’d be delighted!
