I had my operation in May on my Knee after suffering a lot of pain. I was incredibly impressed with the professionalism of Mr Bhattee. The surgery went smoothly not a pleasant experience but Mr Bhattee was so thorough, kind, gentle and totally professional in every way, it made a bad situation bearable. The experience was excellent in every respect. I did think I/we had made a decision to proceed with a hip replacement, instead of other measures described, but now that I have read the Professor`s post-consultation letter, I am not sure a replacement is agreed. For the avoidance of doubt, I DO want to have a hip rplacement, please.

This is my 2nd hip replacement. I had a leg discrepancy of nearly 2 cms after the first. Mr Murphy has corrected that, which I am pleased about. I have a much larger scar but I’d rather have that than one leg longer than the other. I’m recovering well. Thank you Mr Murphy.

I learnt 50pct of information regarding my diagnosis through questions rather than having it explained in full straight off. Perhaps he assumed I had more medical knowledge than I do. He was very pleasant though.

Incredibly professional, very efficient and went out of way to make time for me. Keyhole surgery on knee recovered very quickly with no complication and almost invisible to eye. Could not have gone better and enjoyed having Prof Bhattacharya as my surgeon.
