Following research into the top surgeons for Gallbladder removal, I found Mr Kerwat. He should be rated 100 stars as he was superb. He explained the procedure very clearly, and on the day he removed my gallbladder via keyhole surgery, leaving me with almost no scarring AND I have had zero issues post surgery. I cannot recommend Mr Kerwat highly enough.

I highly recommend Prof Mughal as I found him extremely considerate, well mannered, kind and super professional. He operated on me for 11 hours - a complete oesophagectomy and a month later I was able to eat and sleep almost as normal. I could not ask for more. My gallbladder was full of stones and needed to be removed to reduce risk of pancreatitis. AXA had referred me yet again to a consultant who was not a surgeon. I would have had to call AXA and have another appointment with a surgeon but Dr Vasilikostas fitted me in after his clinic finished and scheduled me for surgery within two weeks. He was kind, reassuring and professional.

From the Moment I met Prof Patel at our first consultation, I knew I was in excellent hands. He explained the surgery that I required (whipple) in great detail and answered the questions that myself and my Wife had with great care and compassion and really made me feel a lot happier and comfortable as to what I should expect over the coming months. In hospital, the Prof once again demonstrated to me his passion for, just being one of the best at what he does. Everytime he came to see how I was progressing, still in hospital, post op, he listen intently to how I was feeling, not just physically but mentally as well and showed me so much compassion, love and care, even on Christmas morning the Prof came in to see how I was doing, he didn't need to, when many had finished work for the holiday.
