Syed has a huge knowledge of the spine and its workings. He is technologically advanced and breezes through scans etc during consultation very clearly explaining one's situation. There was no rush as is often the case, and he gave a very clear concise explanation to my proposed route forwards. I have had two historic back operations and over10 different musculoskeletal surgical procedures in my life. Mr Aftab will be my go to back specialist from now on. Very good manner very calm and friendly and gives one much confidence and comfort.

I could not recommend Mr Mokawem enough after the treatment and care he has given me for my scoliosis. Every appointment we had, we are always approached with a reassuring and calm manner, and feeling fully informed on our possible options. We were meant to go ahead with surgery, yet after the Multi-Disciplinary Meeting took place, we were told that in my current position, they should not operate until further investigation had taken place. This just shows how incredible this team is, willing to postpone the surgery as something was not quite adding up. However, after thorough investigation, the surgery went ahead. He always left me choice throughout this process, listing all of the benefits and drawbacks of each stage. I was operated on at the RNOH, and almost every day, Mr Mokawem would come and see me. On around day 3, he came in and asked me if I wanted to stand and go for a short walk. I didn’t as this was one of the days I felt the most sore, but after some time chatting with him, he reassured me and supported me to push myself. I could not be more grateful for Mr Mokawem and his team’s care, and would highly recommend him to anyone! He has been hugely reassuring both to me and my parents.

I felt comfortable with Mr Lee from our first consultation, he was very clear in his explanation of what was required for my operation/s which went really well and recovery has been excellent, I find Mr Lee to be an excellent surgeon with a can do and caring attitude, I would 100% recommend him to anyone requiring surgery.. Dr. Yeh is is very patient person and tried his best to explain to me what my problem was and what would be the best solution for me. Everything was very clear after my second visit. He was also very professional in terms of what tests need to be done to identify the real problem causing my backpain. After seeing the results, referred me to a very good specialist for physical therapy. He is following up with me on a regular basis to make sure that I am getting better and my treatment goes well. Mr Kazzaz is an excellent and professional surgeon, he has a lovely friendly manner and explained everything in detail that was easy for me and my family to understand, he is always available for any questions or concerns via his secretary, which are promptly answered.
