This is my first surgical procedure under Mr. NiK Bakti, and I need to await the outcome upon full recovery to more meaningfully feedback on his excellence, but given his profile and him being on Benenden Hospital's medical team , I felt confident to rate him well. The briefing meeting with me prior to surgery could have been a little more reassuring.

John is a pleasant, likeable and clearly talented surgeon. He has operated on both of my hands now as well as an elbow, all of which have been successful. His needlework is impressive and my scars have healed neatly.

I had a very bad shoulder injury and after the surgery which was successful, he guided me towards a very long recovery and I am pleased to say that I’m on the right path.

During the initial appointment Dr Karuppaiah gave me all of the information required so that I could make an informed decision on the best treatment for my hand. On the day of the surgery he again made me feel at ease an I had full confidence going into theatre. No complications and my hand is healing as expected.

Gary Faber,my Physiotherapist has been excellent. His professionalism and knowledge are unparalleled. Couple that with his patience and care, that made my experience enjoyable and much appreciated.🙌🏾🙌🏾

On the whole, a lovely consultant. The reason for the 4 stars was a very slight language barrier, and also explanation of surgery in recovery when still groggy from anaesthetic. Not his fault, just time restraints. Happy for him to perform surgery in the future, if needed?

Very good, very professional

Overall, I was impressed with his knowledge and expertise in his field. He was able to address my concerns with clear and insightful information, which was very reassuring. However, I did feel that the appointment was somewhat rushed. I would have appreciated a bit more time to discuss my issues in detail and to feel fully heard. While I understand that doctors have tight schedules, a slightly more relaxed pace would greatly enhance the patient experience.

I think Alex is really excellent and I really enjoyed my rehabilitation with him. I was feeling much better by the end and I felt motivated by the treatment. Alex has a calm, friendly energy and I always left the sessions in a good mood.
