Dr Purohit is an expert in fibroids. He is very patient and compassionate and was happy to answer my many questions before and after the surgery (open myomectomy). He advised me of all the options so that I could make informed decisions. The actual surgery went really well and the incision was very neat, so the scar is healing very well. I have been a patient of Mr Aquilina for the past twenty one years and could not be more grateful to have been introduced to him all those years ago. Initially I went to see him after a miscarriage and he then cared for me during both my subsequent pregnancies and births. He has also patiently guided me through my menopause treatment, carefully explaining and reassuring me at every stage, ultimately something that was transformative for my quality of life. My most recent appointment with him was for a mirena replacement, part of my HRT. I was extremely nervous about the procedure but he was patient, didnt make me feel rushed and did everything he could to make me as comfortable as possible. Nurse Mila was wonderful also and didn't leave my side! I can honestly say that I trust Mr Aquilina with my life and could not recommend him highly enough. His knowledge, experience and kind bedside manner would be hard to beat.

Mr Hextall is very calm and knowledgable, he feels like a safe pair of hands. His explanation of the problem and the process of treatment was clear. He was attentive and available - he even took a call on a Sunday afternoon whilst away on holiday, which resulted in the swift treatment and resolution of a slight complication.

Julie made me feel extremely comfortable and at ease. It is never easy to go through the procedure and after some bad past experiences she made it seem so easy thanks to her support, professionalism and talking through/explaining everything. I very appreciated the care and support she gave.
