Very pleased with seeing Mr Yadu Shankarappa, he made me feel very comfortable and took the time explaining all my x-ray images, which was very informative. When I completely damaged my knee, Mr Cattell got me seen very quickly, and he made it very easy to understand what he needed to do to repair my knee. He's a lovely gentleman who always checks up on his patients, and he's always booked me in for my appointment exactly when he said he would. I wanted to discuss the possibility or desirability of a hip replacement, given that I have arthritis, and genuinely had no preference regarding whether to have the operation or not. He examined my mobility, discussed the situation with me, the pros and cons of operating or not, and concluded that I should continue with physiotherapy and not undergo the operation. Throughout the conversation, he came over as thoroughly professional, caring, and in command of his area of expertise. He gave me confidence in his decision.

Mr Grant was excellent, he looked at all options available to myself and explained exactly what was going to happen. He made sure I understood everything and was happy to show my daughter what was going to happen, which obviously put her and myself at ease. I have needed this operation for quite a long while and kept putting it off for fear of the operation. However I felt all the way from the first consultation, to my time in hospital and after care was exemplary. He made me feel that any questions I asked where answered so I could understand them totally and made me feel I could ask anything.
