Excellent as usual

Approximately 3 months ago i began to have gynae symptoms that highlighted something was not right. Worried and panicking, I contacted Mr Naji who offered a sameday consultation with diagnostics so we could start to understand the issue. Louise is part of the team who performs all the logistics in terms of appointments, questions etc and she was brilliant, she told me what to expect from the consultation. Tests showed that Uterine Fibroids were the cause and we swiftly moved onto further diagnostics of MRI scans which were done the same week. Again, the pace and reassurance given was outstanding and at each stage i had Louise to help answer any questions that i had. Long story short, we quickly agreed that a fully hysterectomy was needed and we moved quickly to arrange surgery. I am now in week 1 of recovery, feeling sore but relieved, but more importantly thankful that i found Mr Naji and his team who have supported me through this journey, the care i received was outstanding and cannot describe how important this is when going through such a major operation.

Dr McIndoe is always so lovely, professional, polite and always takes the time to ask how I’m doing in all aspects of my life. I feel completely at ease around him especially as I don’t particularly enjoy smear tests.

Mr Rowan Connell has being brilliant throughout my process, from consultant appointments to surgery. I was kept well informed.

Mr Minas was very helpful and welcoming. He explained everything thoroughly and in a way that I could understand. He took time to answer any questions I had and didn't rush me. He went through all the risks and benefits of the surgery that I needed as well as medication after the surgery to ensure I could make an informed decision. He always made me feel very comfortable. He managed to get me booked in for surgery with only 4 days notice due to a cancellation slot coming up. I am very grateful for his expertise and for doing my surgery at such short notice. I am hopeful that my endometriosis shouldn't cause many problems in the future now that Mr Minas has thoroughly excised everything that he could see and with the ongoing medication I'm hopeful it will stop/slow down the regrowth. I'm very thankful to Mr Minas for all his help and support over the last 2 weeks.
