From the initial appointment, I finally got an in-depth explanation of my condition, and what help he could offer, whereas previously I had been told no treatment was available to me. He is professional and reassuring , which has helped enormously to dispel my anxiety regarding my Liver. He is positive, calm and extremely knowledgeable. What separates him from others is his creative approach to problem solving, with numerous suggestions for treatments for ongoing situations, which has been priceless. This is someone that puts forth effort for their patients. I now feel relieved and confident that my Liver can heal again. Dr Kandiah kept me informed of what was to be expected in the procedure. The preparation for the procedure instructions were clear and therefore easy to follow. During the procedure, there was a point when he could not continue and he informed me of the reason and immediately sent me to a scan (on the same day). All of which was efficiently and sympathetically done. The follow up appointment was just as informative. He answered all of my questions and provided me with the reassurances I needed. I would highly recommend Dr Kandiah as he is extremely professional with an amazing bed side manner.
