I decided to see Mr Spink with my back problem after been told some 6 months prior that there was nothing that could be done apart from keeping my weight down. The pain was getting worse by the day and I had started to become incontenant, after explaining my symptoms and an examination he told me to pack a bag and go straight Hull Royal Imfirmary for emergency surgery. I cannot thank him enough it's early days yet it looks like my bladder and bowels have been saved he said I have cauda Equina Syndrome if left untreated the outlook is grim. Straight forward to the point

When I first came to Doctor Sian, I was in a very bad way with prolapsed discs and chronic pain, as a result this had impacted my mental health to a very dark place. I had lost the ability to live my normal life because of pain and fear. Doctor Sian was the first person to acknowledge my situation properly after years of being treated less well by other Doctors. He explained our options clearly and was always easy to talk to. Over the time I have been seeing him, I have slowly recovered from being in terrible pain, to being in a much better physical state, and my mental health has massively improved. It was because of Doctor Sian that I have been able to have my life back. Thank you Doctor Sian.
