I decided to see Mr Spink with my back problem after been told some 6 months prior that there was nothing that could be done apart from keeping my weight down. The pain was getting worse by the day and I had started to become incontenant, after explaining my symptoms and an examination he told me to pack a bag and go straight Hull Royal Imfirmary for emergency surgery. I cannot thank him enough it's early days yet it looks like my bladder and bowels have been saved he said I have cauda Equina Syndrome if left untreated the outlook is grim. Very welcoming, made me feel at ease , listened attentively , described the theory of what body parts needed to work together to enable me walk and I didn't feel rushed .by him, he yold me straight away the next process and what form of contact would be made after the test . .

Mr. Mark Brown was very attentive and listened to my explanation of the problem I am experiencing. He made me feel confident that he would be able to help. Explained to me where the problem lay and showed pictures of my scan. His manner was very professional but at the same time very approachable and very kind. I felt relief that he could tell me how I could be made to feel much better and not in pain.
