On the whole, a lovely consultant. The reason for the 4 stars was a very slight language barrier, and also explanation of surgery in recovery when still groggy from anaesthetic. Not his fault, just time restraints. Happy for him to perform surgery in the future, if needed?

Dr V explains the medical details in an easy to understand manner, and proves patient, keen to listen & completely able to answer any questions. The procedure Dr V provided went smoothly & without a hitch, due to his undoubted expertise, cool manner & technical competence. Follow up was effective, informative & completely thorough. I found Dr V the ultimate upper GI consultant, & the epitome of a professional surgeon. Highly recommended.

I was really pleased with my overall experience with Miss Burton. She had a kind and reassuring bedside manner and explained everything to me really well. She was also really helpful and responsive over email (via her secretary) with any questions I had pre and post operation.

Overall a relatively pleasant experience but I think the prescribed cream has damaged my skin, so I will be contacting Dr Shin-Young Cho soon.
