I came to Dr Bownes for a second opinion on two MRIs of my knee. He did not provide a clear response to whether my ACL was damaged despite repeatedly asking him, and he did not seem worried my knee pain was left undiagnosed. I did not feel my concerns were heard during or after the meeting, or that he looked at the MRIs carefully, and he seemed to have made up his mind before looking at them. Dr. Bownes did not seem very interested in my case.

Mr Martin Klinke repaired a complicated rupture of an also deteriorating Achilles Tendon in a highly efficient manner, judging by results with which I am delighted. He is also a pleasure to meet. His aftercare is exemplary. He explains the recovery situation and do’s and dont’s clearly and simply and has liaised regularly with my physiotherapist to ensure an optimum path to rehabilitation.

Dr. Din took the time to answer all my questions before my procedure in a clear, detailed and kind way. He was reassuring about my worries but honest about all possible outcomes, leaving me able to make an informed decision as to whether I went ahead. The actual procedure was carried out so smoothly with every step explained. I felt as though I was in very safe hands! The outcome is amazing - more positive than I could ever have imagined. I’m so glad I took the plunge to go ahead with the procedure. The admin team, reception staff and the nurses assisting during and later when the stitches were taken out were also kind and reassuring. Excellent treatment plan. Never felt like i was being overly prescribed or set false expectations. Progress has been steady and demonstrable. Chris is very approachable and articulate.
